Views on cooperative entrepreneurship:

In a globalized world dominated by supermarkets, industrial farms and food from the other side of the world – we care about access to healthy food by focusing on direct cooperation with farmers, localism, seasonality and ecology. The “Dobzre” Food Cooperative is a social enterprise based on the values of cooperation and sustainable development, benefiting everyone: producers, customers, members and employees. We create a community that jointly runs two stores with bio products, and additionally organizes numerous events promoting an environmentally sustainable and socially responsible lifestyle. We have been operating since 2013. We already associate nearly 500 people. We will make our next dream come true soon.

Views on cooperative entrepreneurship:

We are ordinary people doing extraordinary things learning and creating in teams. Now more than ever we need to put YOUTH in charge, empowering & serving them to become the best version of themselves to transform the world cooperating in teams. We human are social beings. There is nothing more powerful in humanity than people come together to create and learn together as team-entrepreneurs. We need teampreneurs everywhere, change-maker teams (multi-disciplinare, multi-generational, multi-cultural, multi-located,..) learn and creating in teams to transform the world.

The answer to the world today is cooperation, teampreneurship & societal platforms. People learning and creating together to create digital platform coops to restore agency and empower every human being to address together humanity challenges.

Views on cooperative entrepreneurship:

We need to talk so much more about Cooperative entrepreneurship. First, for the power of collective action. People, and I believe especially young people, value working together, learning from each other, and moving in the same direction – this generates dynamics which can become gamechangers and go beyond initial expectations.
Second, taking responsibility and having a say in your own organization is a driving force very much needed to be motivated and happy at work – if we want a more human-centered economy, we can only do so by giving more space to the people in decision-making processes.
And last but not least, if we do not talk more about cooperatives now, it is going to be too late. Only economic activities which are going hand in hand with social values and environmental rehabilitation can take up the current challenges of poverty and climate change. I believe that there has never been such an increase of interest in cooperatives and responsible entrepreneurship. We as cooperative movement can play a big role in pushing this further.

Views on cooperative entrepreneurship:

Communities should remain the hubs of innovation and change in a world that constantly promotes individualism and mere competition for personal wealth creation. Current power dynamics in work, in economy, in society leave a big part of the world behind. But who has the power? Well, People have the Power! A paradigm shift is imperative, and Youth should have the boost to lead to collective action and the space to drive this transformation through co-ownership and co-governance. Cooperatives do hold some of these fundamental ingredients for an inclusive & just entrepreneurial way forward.
